1315870 2012-12-02 04:18:00 On Q and A this morning one of the ideas to get NZ moving along was to extend the term of parliamnet to 4 years.

What do you think 3 or 4 years ?

1315871 2012-12-02 04:23:00 4 years would be too long if the commie parties were in power and 3 years is too short for a National party government prefect (6291)
1315872 2012-12-02 04:35:00 Should have none as a choice. QW. (15883)
1315873 2012-12-02 04:39:00 Yes I did think about Digby as president as an option...or BM or Jen or Kim Dot Com Digby (677)
1315874 2012-12-02 05:03:00 I voted 4, but I'd like to see a US system where one PM can only get two terms. Nick G (16709)
1315875 2012-12-02 05:09:00 Seem's like on Q&A there was a general consensus on 3 years being to short

Braid was right with 3 years to short

1315876 2012-12-02 05:32:00 4 years far to long when Labour in.

So 3 it is on the off chance.

1315877 2012-12-02 06:16:00 So, we see yet again, the right-wrong, bemoaning the chance
that a representative, peoples government might get a longer term?
Spare me, from these hypocritical dreamers.

The only way to benefit from a single regime is to have it for a long time.
Four years is not enough, a 5 year plan is in order!
Followed by several more...:p

@KarameaDave
I did think about adding a 5 year option, but I thought it best to keep it simple.

1315879 2012-12-02 08:43:00 What the devil has the country done wrong enough to merit an extra year of the pathetic pile we have lollygagging around in Bellamys? R2x1 (4628)
