| 1340985 | 2013-05-15 23:55:00 | I was just re-reading the thread, and I notice that "wainuitech" had downloading VLC from get.videolan.org whereas I had downloaded from www.videolan.org . Could that be why I got a different result? Frankly, I've no idea what the subtle difference is, and maybe I'm clutching at straws?! But I've found VLC so good to run on my old Vista machine and I still lean that way. | Mike S (1766) | ||
| 1340986 | 2013-05-27 02:14:00 | Just to conclude this thread - I deleted VLC from my machine, then downloaded from the site mentioned by wainuitech. When I ran it all was well, and I can now watch movies on DVD's. Thank you all. |
