I had a courier throw a package over the fence, where the dog then ripped the sh1t out of it. Courier company said "Sorry, we can't do anything about it. It was delivered, that's all we need to do. You should contact your insurance company." After some furious letter writing, they paid me out, as it was a signature required parcel. |

| 1316808 | 2012-12-09 09:23:00 | I've had stuff left, but I only order it on days that I'm home. If I'm not home or it's coming a long way, it's either waiting another day to be ordered or it's coming bloody well signed for. | 8ftmetalhaed (14526) | ||
| 1316809 | 2012-12-09 23:58:00 | Got something off trademe, which was delivered by NZ Couriers... Well there's half your problem... liars they are. Once a parcel of mine went missing, the courier claimed some unknown person on the property had signed for it, but it was eventually delivered 2 years later! Could be they damaged the parcel or stole it. In fact statistically even "free" 6+ Week wait time China Post mail has been more reliable for me. It's also plausible that someone has been watching your letterbox and pinched it... had an argument with your neighbours recently? You'll probably never find out what happened. I would advise you don't use NZ Couriers again though. Worst ones I've ever used. Fast(Slow)Way take 2nd place tied with PBT - both who have consistently signed for signature packages themselves and left them in the letterbox. CourierPost\NZ Post, Toll (The guys Farnell use) and FedEx are the best I've encountered so far. |

| 1316810 | 2012-12-10 07:25:00 | China post has been good for me. Longest wait was 4 weeks with the shortest being 1.5, after looking out our apartment window in Beijing and seeing what looked like a mail truck crash (turned out that's how they sort the mail, throw it around, pile it up nad chuck it on some guy with a bike) I have a surprising amount of faith in the Chinese mail. Plenty of glass items (Digitizers) have shown up perfectly fine. Although packed like a battleship the packing isn't really damaged. If you suspect the mail guy nicked it lodge a complaint and explain what you thought happened. NZ post may look into it and find he has a history of things disappearing on his runs and look into it. Best of luck! |

But it still gets here! Unlike our bloody couriers. |
