1316367	2012-12-04 02:30:00	@Terry and Zippity Thanks for the suggestions on the colours and font etc. As you will see I am self taught and have no real design skills. (What do I have?) What is a nice business like font for the web ? I refuse to make it very feint though as the modern trend seems to be. Comic Sans is what you appear to be using - this is a big no-no for a professional site. It should be Verdana, which is the easiest font to read on-screen...	johcar (6283)

Increase Domain Strength, Authority, Credibility, and Conversions, etc . Some Tips: Use Google's keywords tool ( . google . com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__c=1000000000&__u=1000000000&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS" target="_blank">adwords . google . com) to see the number of NZ and global visits for your targeted search terms/keywords . related terms appear and may give ideas for any future content you might (or should) add . It defaults to broad match types . Exact gives lower but more realistic info . The competition displayed is I think advertiser competition for Google search ads . It's listed as High . Also displays the CPC's cost per click for ads, e . g . for adsense on your site . Best sign in rather than using their tricky captra (or whatever it's called) . Signing in gives more info . Install Google Analytics (GA ( . google . co . nz/analytics/" target="_blank">www . google . co . nz)) . I think you have stat counter . GA shows queries (except for visitors signed in to Google), page entries, time on site, bounce rate, page/vistor flow through your site, exit/entry pages, referals, and more . You can map/link GA to Adsense account for fine tracking of any clicks . Basically track visits over a time span, level of engagement, popular landing pages, etc and see if visits increase . You can get reports emailed to you . What to track . GWT displays search queries, Googlebot analysis, rank number (average), backlink profies, diagnostics . Basically helps and suggest to increase or maintain visibilty in Google Search by checking your site's health . For monetization, for Adsense try different ad formats occassionaly . Even the humble text link ads - I have had huge increases in CTR's compared to fancy image rectangular ads and vertical banners . Setup custom channels to track individual ad performance . Maybe try lead generation and ppc ads as an affilate with e . g . , Fishpond, Shop NZ, ( . shopnewzealand . co . nz/affiliate_goto . php?language=en" target="_blank">www . shopnewzealand . co . nz) and maybe hotel site, e . g . hotels combined .
