| 156534 | 2003-07-01 10:17:00 | Goddie. Just as a matter of interest. To send a fax, one goes into fax Mode & sends. To Receive, I assume one must stay in fax mode? All the time? A dedicated Fax M/c stays on all the time waiting to memorise or print a message. Does the computer have to be on all the time as well? PJ | Poppa John (284) | ||
| 156535 | 2003-07-01 10:21:00 | Have you successully sent faxes to a "real fax machine" OK? I gave up on "PC faxing" a couple of years ago, and bought a $299 fax machine. Too many times I needed to urgently fax a real form or piece of paper, and scanning it in then faxing was not an option (took too long). Most have moved to e-mail now anyway, and I send and receive less than 10 pages a month. (SOHO business environment) Plus the reliability of reception was very poor, when needing to receive a fax urgently. |

| 156537 | 2003-07-01 13:35:00 | I receive all my faxes on a fax machine. It's just far too annoying to have the PC ready and waiting all the time to receive a fax. I do send the bulk of my faxes from the PC though. | -=JM=- (16) | ||
