| 156939 | 2003-07-02 08:12:00 | well wot type of cd is he trying to autorun? To test if it is autorun, load the cd, then go to mycomputer and right click on the cd drive and click on "AutoPlay". If it loads up then it is autoplay/autorun. If it is a music cd or mixed data cd then check if he has set the drive to take" No Action". Once again go to Mycomputer, cd drive, right click, then properties and click on the autoplay tab, then playaround and see if any of those types of cd's has "Take No Action" selected, then deselect as u please. Hope that helped :) cheers, v.K |

| 156940 | 2003-07-02 22:17:00 | gidday, you can check the registry to see if it is enabled. Be careful in here, dont attempt this if you are not sure, as any change can have drastic effects on your system. click start, run, type regedit. look for and follow these folders: HKEY_LOCAL_Machine\system\currentcontrolset\servic es\cdbcdrom or this could be cdrom. Double click the autorun entry, if it is showing an entry of "0" it is disabled. change the entry, to "1" close the registry, and restart your computer. Cheers, Robby |
