| 156898 | 2003-07-03 12:30:00 | Palmy has some reliable computer stores, according to my shakey memory metla or whetu where discussing dealings with someone in that town. Sorry to confuse the issue earlier bettle. The Samuri amd xp I found on the DSE site had all the same specs except the board and a couple of other details. Cheers Murray P |

| 156901 | 2003-07-04 04:21:00 | Hi Beetle, First of all I'd say you look at a Seagate HDD w/ 3 year warranty (add 7%) over the Maxtor. It may be an extreme micro-tad slower, but it'll last you a lot longer. Maxtor have an increasing return rate at present. As for your input devices (keyboard/mouse), just save yourself the hassle and buy the best you can afford - Microsoft or Logitech. They're what you use to interface with your computer, so dont skimp on them. As for where - In the Palmy area look at inhouse.co.nz, I'm not aware of anyone with a good reputation in the wangas... all the guys from wanganui that I know buy from StylesPC who are a nation-wide dealership. At present I'm not sure if Styles have a dealer in your area, they most certainly wont have a store. You cant go wrong with inhouse whether you want to shop in person or online. -whetu |
