156918 2003-07-30 03:30:00 Yes I do realise that not all gif's are animated however it is the animated ones I'm having the problem with. cadifan (286)
156919 2003-07-30 03:59:00 Check that IE Tools|options under the Advanced tab then Multimedia heading has play animations checked. parry (27)
156920 2003-07-30 04:07:00 Try this

Go to start/run and type the following:

regsvr32 /i occache.dll

156921 2003-07-30 04:19:00 All the relevant boxes are checked

I did the "regsvr32 /i occache.dll" thing and the window came up with (I can't remember the phrase but you obviously would) but the last word was succeeded so that's gotta be good, right.

156922 2003-08-01 12:28:00 Also I often get this error message whether I'm using IE6 or CrazyBrowser

A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?

Line: 2
Error: ‘win2’ is null or not an object

156923 2003-08-01 21:23:00 Open internet explorer go to "tools/internet options/advanced" then put tick next to "disable script debugging" Jim B (153)

156925 2003-10-13 05:46:00 I've discovered that when I double click on a saved animated gif i get a window saying that Windows cannot find C\:blah, blah, blah which is actually the correct path! And when I close that window I can open the window with the animated gif animating away as designed.

Any ideas?

156926 2003-10-13 07:35:00 What program do you have gif files associated with? Fire-and-Ice (3910)
156927 2003-10-13 08:35:00 Hi Cadifan
I can open the window with the animated gif animating away - a nice turn of phrase which had never occurred to me.
