| 156823 | 2003-07-02 03:59:00 | Hey How can I uninstall a LAN card in win2k pro? I went into right click My Computer then 'Manage' but failed to find anything useful. I prefer not to install the card in the slot then choose uninstall. Is there another way. I have pulled one out and replaced it with another. Thx N. |

| 156827 | 2003-07-02 05:25:00 | under device manager - it only list my new LAN card. it does not list the old one. the old one right now is in the cupboard. under control panel --_> network and under properties --> it only shows one card and that is the one i have installed right now (not the old one). Any ideas? I do not need to uninstall it. jus clears the junk, my new card is now working fine thru all the networking. |

You wouldnt be worried by any chance would you by the fact that when trying to statically assign the SAME IP address as your old card had, it comes up with a warning about sharing the IP, and when the other NIC is enabled etc. etc. I wouldnt worry about it, pulling out the NIC is enough.. :-) |
