| 157285 | 2003-07-03 22:46:00 | Suddenly after a operating system crash, (W98) IE6 no longer displays the ICONS or displays images of any kind I tried reloading the latest version of IE6 (with Service Pack 1) but it is still the same. I then loaded Mozella as a test and it is 100% so I hunted through the Microsoft knowledge base but nothing was found. I then tried deleting the ICONSHELL CACHE but it also did not help. I collegue has suggested that either the built in GIF and/or JPG filters have gone bad (which should have been repaired by the reinstallation) or some registry glitch. Any ideas and has any of you come across this and have a cure. Many Thanks Tony |

How it got turned off is a mystery but it has now fixed the problem . Once again Thnk you for taking the trouble to reply |
