157144 2003-07-03 01:39:00 For this of you using IE 6 must know that a Links folder always appears in the Favourites, even when you delete it, it just appears again the next time.

It's not a big "tick" but I find it rather annoying everytime I add a folder to my favourites or do some re-organising, that that empty Links folder is always "in the way".

Why does it always keep re-appearing? and can I permanently delete it?

157145 2003-07-03 01:43:00 pretty sure it returns because you have the links tab showing in the taskbar accros the top of the screen. metla (154)

157147 2003-07-03 04:10:00 Instead of fighting it you could make the Links folder and toolbar your friend. Remove all the items in it that you do not require and put in your own most-often used favourites. Then, if you go to View | Toolbars and put a tick alongside the Links toolbar it will be available for a quick click to those often visited sites. tommy (2826)
