157122 2003-07-03 01:21:00 I'm trying to load Opera 7.11 off the disk and have deleted ver. 6.01 but I can't get it to load. The disk opens up Internet Explorer and when I go to "Browsers" and then down to Opera and click on "open folder here" it just comes up with.....

Cannor find Server. No page to display.

Even read the instructions. Am I doing something obviously wrong? I have loaded stuff from cd's before (though not all that often) and ususally it's straghtforward. Thanks m?:|c

157125 2003-07-03 01:53:00 Mark,I've found with some of these cd's,that I have to right click on the link and "save file as" to my pc,then install it from there. Neil McC (178)

Don't forget that Opera's skin is hugely customisable. The default skin takes up rather a large amount of screen real estate so making its icons smaller or obtaining a smaller skin makes quite a difference to how much you can fit onscreen as does your arrangement of icons.

157128 2003-07-03 12:36:00 Opera 7 is brilliant.

Dozens of skins are available, mine looks like XP IE6.
One of the best features is, press F12 & you will find 3 settings for 'pop ups'. Accept, Block, & Accept by Invitation. This is brilliant as it does not interfere with downloads, links, graphics etc, but keeps all the 'appendage extension' adds out ;-)
Don't forget that 'F11' toggles a full screen & Z=Back.
It will also delete all Cookies before closing, if you wish.
