| 157308 | 2003-07-04 00:33:00 | Morning All I have an XP Pro machine that, when it tries to log on to our domain, comes up with the error message "the current time on this machine and the current time on the network are different..." and won't log on. The time and date on the machine are correct (if I log on locally), and I could synch the time using net time command but of course I can't log on to the domain so I can't see the server. Any ideas? Have searched MS website and Google but no response on this error message. Also have tried resetting user account and machine account in AD (am using win2000 server). thanks for any help |

| 157309 | 2003-07-04 02:33:00 | Is this an Active Directory or a NT4 domain. AD won't allow a client PC with a time difference of over or less than 10mins to login, The only way to get around this is to log in locally and set the time to the same as a Domain Controller. (I see you say they do match, then I would check the time zone setting as this check probably uses GMT not local time) Let us know how you get on |

| 157310 | 2003-07-04 14:21:00 | I had a similar problem. The time seemed to be correct on the screen, but when I looked in the Bios it was 12 hours out, pm instead of am. (the Bios is a 24 hour clock) | Mzee (158) | ||
