| 157227 | 2003-07-03 10:33:00 | I'm running Windows XP Pro. When I restart the computer it gets to "Windows is starting" and hangs for at least 15 - 20 minutes then a message comes up "Windows cannot start. Check your password." Any idea why this happens? Keleva |

Have you recently put new hardware in the system case? Help us to help you. Remember that I can't see what you can from here. |

| 157229 | 2003-07-03 11:01:00 | Can you start in Safe Mode? Press the F8 key (repeatably) when you see the staring windows , be quick. In safe mode check your hardware for conflicts or problems in the Cotrol Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager or right click My Computer and select manage and look for system devices from there. Have a look at this (support.microsoft.com) at MS, look for similarities to your situation. Cheers Murray P |
