2003-07-04 05:44:00 Has anyone, in their computing experiences, come across this particular trojan. We have almost got rid of it except we can't stop Outlook Express sending html encoded emails (we have asked it very nicely too!) Dolby Digital (160)
2003-07-04 06:17:00 Have you tried opening Express, go tools-options-compose and make sure stationery is unticked ? Pheonix (280)
2003-07-04 06:18:00 Never had it, but what do you mean by "almost" got rid of it :) Pheonix (280)
2003-07-04 09:10:00 Well, we have done all the published steps that the named virus busting companies have listed, but we cannot turn off html encoded emails.... well actually we can... but after we send the first email, subsequent emails HAVE html encoded into them. I presume there is something left but the virus writeups don't mention it. Dolby Digital (160)
2003-07-05 01:12:00 I do not know if this will help

But go to tools > options > click on the send tab & you can change the mail sending format (Note: I think sending e-mails as HTML, is default ?:|)
