| 157605 | 2003-07-05 00:46:00 | P166mmx 256Ram 33.6k Modem Windows98SE Recently I upgraded the memory in this machine from 128Ram to 256Ram Since the upgrade, my connection speed using the dial modem rarely achieves the 33,600bps which it did prior to the upgrade. It now connects anywhere between 24,000 and 31,200bps. Is this coincidental to the upgrade or is there anything I can do to increase the connection speed? Any help, suggestions, explanations would be gratefuly received by this ole timer :) Thanks, Smurf |
