Can only access my Norton System suite but have done all the usual reports and repairs and cannot get my start up screen. Any ideasto assist or is it time to call in the big guns......??? |

| 157429 | 2003-07-05 03:41:00 | Have you had the lid open to curse at the computer face-to-face? You might have bumped the memory. "Invalid page faults" always suggest memory problems to me. Try unclipping each memory module and reseating it. That will "fix" one memory problem ... slightly moved or poor contacts. If that doesn't fix it, try "underclocking". If memory is marginal at its rated speed, it will work perfectly if stepped down a bit. If that's the case, there are two cures ... leave it slow, or replace the stick. | Graham L (2) | ||
