2003-07-07 05:40:00 As the title, whats the equivelent of 'msconfig' under Win95? I can't find it anywhere.

Cheers

2003-07-07 05:44:00 That is because it isn't there, unfortunately. Only Windows 98 onwards had msconfig. tommy (2826)
2003-07-07 05:47:00 If you have access to a PC with Win98 on it, copy the msconfig file to a floppy disk and transfer it to the PC with win95 because it will work. :) CYaBro (73)
2003-07-07 05:56:00 If you don't have a Win98/ME machine handy, you can download msconfig.exe from this site: msconfig for Windows 95 (www2.whidbey.com) Jen C (20)
2003-07-07 06:31:00 Phew, found it, buried in my favorites is this site (www.annoyances.org), which also tells you how to add System File Checker, Scanreg, WinME defrag as well as msconfig to win 95. All useful additions that help keep Win95 going. Terry Porritt (14)
