157976 2003-07-06 23:37:00 I can not download updates for Norton antivirus 2002. The error message is LU 1815 - "can not access file. Only administrator can access" I am the Administrator. I have opened a new administrator account but the same result occurs. I have reloaded the software but to no avail. I have also reset the system to the last known time when the update feature was working. Incidentally at the same this has occurred my favorites in Internet explorer disappeared and when I reload I am asked if I want to overwrite although the tab shows empty. It would that the relative files whatever they are have become inaccessible. Can anyone help?

157977 2003-07-07 05:49:00 The Symantec Support base has this advice on error message Error: "LU1815: LiveUpdate could not access a file...." (service1.symantec.com) which may help.

Hmm ... not sure what is happening with your Favorites files. Someone else may have a suggestion on that issue.
