| 158209 | 2003-07-09 10:24:00 | i've heard from many people that dvd region killer does not work in most cases, and some times prompts u to flash ur drive. But i'm only reportin the "hear/say" that i come across. If it works, let us know. cheers, v.K |

| 158210 | 2003-07-10 00:28:00 | its working for me watched 2 zone1 and 2 zone4 movies in the last 24 hours.,.. BEFORE any of them..changes were at "4 changes left" and just 2 mins go..checked again..the changes were at "4 changes left" so am assuming it worked...as i went from zone 1 movie...zone 4....zone 4....zone 1... so for me..yes it works :-) |

| 158211 | 2003-07-10 01:00:00 | the reason many people say region killer type programs don't work is there dvd drive is already locked. region killer apps only kill the the software region locks not the hardware ones. | tweak'e (174) | ||

| 158215 | 2003-07-11 04:54:00 | There appears to be a shareware programme called DVD Region-free v2.18 which is quite popular ... about 37k downloads from one site in a year. There is a version for Linux. The Windows versions are shareware, but I don't see a price on the Linux version ;-). You can find the links with "linux dvd region" in google. This might work if I haven't messed up :D (www.dawnload.net). Also there is this site: Open DVD .org (opendvd.org). | Graham L (2) | ||
