158190 2003-07-08 06:54:00 Have you check & see if you got the settings correct between both Programs???? stu140103 (137)
158191 2003-07-08 10:30:00 Hey
It is most likely your computer at fault here.

Do you have any firewalls in place which would prevent Outlook Express sending emails?
Does Outlook Express give you an error message?
Can you receive emails in Outlook Express?
Like Stu said, have you confirmed your settings within Outlook Express?

Also, another thing to try. Get the address of your mail server (eg: Xtra's SMTP Server is 'smtp.xtra.co.nz'), click Start > Run and type "Command" (without the quote marks), then type "ping smtp.xtra.co.nz" (without the quote marks). This will confirm if a connection exists between you and the mail server.

158192 2003-07-08 21:09:00 Hi,
Here is another possibility have you made Incredimail into the default Email programme?
Some programmes like to make themselves the default without you knowing.
I think you can check by going into Tools, Accounts.

158193 2003-07-08 21:37:00 Gidday,

I've found that express and incredimail can get a bit grumpy towards each other, but both will work ok side by side. It's more than likely a setting in express, that isn't quite right. Open express and click tools, accounts, click the name of your account, and then click properties.

check these settings with the same settings in incredimail, as they should be the same.

cheers,

Robby
