| 158117 | 2003-07-07 22:10:00 | I recently installed win98 onto a pc then upgraded the OS to win 2000. The problem is that when the pc now boots up you have the option of choosing win 98 or 2000. Which files do I need to get rid of so that the pc boots up straight to 2000? |

If however you have no need for the old Win98 you can simply right-click on my computer select properties => Advanced => Startup and Recovery options => Select "Windows 2000 Professional" => Untick display list of Operatiing Systems NOTE: You can also edit the boot.ini, however you need to be more careful. Let windows do it for you as above. |
