| 158603 | 2003-07-10 01:12:00 | I have an old P233 with Win98 s.e. on it. I have just noticed that the Voice or sound recorder will not work. I can hear that the microphone is plugged in and working and the little cross on mute in the sound properties is un-ticked. All sound settings seem correct apart from in Audio properties where the Recording button with the microphone is not hilighted and will not actually hilight, and will not press in. Can anyone suggest what my problem is? |

| 158604 | 2003-07-10 02:30:00 | If you double click on the little speaker icon in your systray, check and make sure that its set to use the Mic inputs. Also, in the Control Panel, open up your sounds and media settings, and check that your system is set to properly use that soundcard for recording :-) |

| 158605 | 2003-07-11 00:04:00 | Thanks for your advice....have checked that previously but to no avail...it used to record but for some reason all the recording options are now not available. In Audio options the record tab button thingie isn't hilighted and wont press down, and under the little speaker the mic is set properly so I guess I'll keep trying. | kiwicantab (3800) | ||
