| 158588 | 2003-07-09 14:12:00 | Working on my daughters PC XP Home, all updates done, it logs into the ISP OK (so it doesn't seem to match Godfather or Cyberchucks suggestion re adding client for microsoft networking) but when it tries to access email, either POP3 or Hotmail it brings up a password dialog box. The remember password box is ticked and all it needs is to have the password entered and it will go and do it's thing. Same for Hotmail. The remember password box is ticked everywhere I can find it, including in the properties dialogs off the accounts dialog box. Must be something I can change, my own XP pro PC doesn't behave like this. Thanks Krafty |
