| 158836 | 2003-07-13 04:36:00 | Well Murray, it was around 32-33 degrees C and 80% humidity, but strangely, it was more comfortable than an Auckland day! Biggest problem was walking from airconditioned areas to the outside air without auto-demisters for my glasses:- instant fog. As for the relative dry, summer is the wet season with frequent thunderstorms and the lightning is like nothing you have ever seen before. The trailer goes up then a monstrous discharge comes down. You definitely need surge protection on all connections to your computer and a UPS to allow an orderly shutdown if (when) the power goes off. If I have generated any business from the trip I hope to go back occasionally, but that remains to be seen. Much of what I do can be done from NZ by email etc. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
