| 159329 | 2003-07-13 07:37:00 | I was googling for a way to generate an html list of the contents of some folders. But nothing jumped out at me. Ideally it would be able to make a list divided by the top level folder structure with links to the lists of the contents of each folder. but a simple list would also suffice Any suggestions? |

However, you may find that there may be a Javascript which is capable of doing so. Just be aware that some firewalls and/or Java monitoring software will pick this up as dodgy as it is requesting files from your C:\ Dive or whereever you want this list generated, and will therefore complain about it. What you would be better to do is to get hold of STG Folder Print Plus (have a search on google) and get this to generate a list of files in a folder, and subfolders etc. Then you have the ability to save to a text file, an HTML file, and a few other formats.
