Dell do make quite good pc's and i would certainly prefer a dell do a pcCO one any day. however non standard parts can be a problem but that fairly normall for the BIG manafactures. only sad thing i have seen is them still useing tnt vanta video cards......argghhhhh. even a cheapo sis 315 runs faster than those. |

Looks like real smoke testing for upgraders. :_| Dell may have changed their policy ("we don't make standard computers") ... the last of the few links I looked at wasdated May 2002, but this is something to be aware of. |
