159075 2003-07-12 00:03:00 I am Trying to migrate from windows to Linux but can not get the dual head function of my Matrox G400 16mb Ram card to function so I can get one CAD drawing up on the second monitor whilst I work on the drawing in the first monitor. Also I am unable to set up two monitors to run at the same time. Any one able to help?

159076 2003-07-12 00:30:00 Latest driver release for the card is a beta back in Jan 03
www.matrox.com
There is also a powerdesk release that is a couple of years old
Check which drivers Mandrake has installed against the listing at Matrox
I found a reference to your problem, but the page had gone.
I'm about to install Red Hat 9 with a G400 32Mb Dualhead so I hope it supports dual monitors as I also need both of them running.
I'll let you know how it goes.
