Thanks for that, that is re-assuring.

Who planned that ?

1317596 2012-12-12 01:04:00 Its quite surprising how we feel when we lose our internet or phone access for a day or so.

Considering that mankind went without both of them for 10,000 years.

1317597 2012-12-12 01:31:00 Heaps of complainers on telecom's facebook saying how much "important work" they can't do. My response, if it's that damn important why are you wasting your time on FB not doing this work.... the fact that you are on facebook means that you have an internet connection and are just wasting your time slamming telecom for no good reason.

Seems like a bunch of sad sack loosers there to me.
I was with you until the highlighted bit.

1317598 2012-12-12 01:36:00 Eh. If I was on Telecom broadband, and it failed, I'd sure as heck use my smartphone to post rants on Facebook about it. Or, more likely, tweet. Zara Baxter (16260)

True but we can't distract ourselves these days by popping out for a bit of a mammoth hunt.

we have to do our banking, process our eftpos transactions, check our emails and such now.

1317600 2012-12-12 04:27:00 ours is working now, but my brothers laptop wont connect to our wifi for some reason, his GS2 wont now either.

rebooted, router and laptop numerous times and re-added connection , no luck

why is it not connecting when everything else can???

1317601 2012-12-12 05:25:00 If EFTPOS is so important to a business then they need to have a redundant 3G or dial up fail over. If you choose not to do so then it's your own risk. Alex B (15479)
