1317853 2012-12-12 08:21:00 Could be about $NZ1800 when converted. For that price I would expect time travel to be included. Not quite as boring as some PC cases I have seen. Bobh (5192)
1317854 2012-12-12 09:17:00 The case itself is only £400.

Go on, who clicked the "configure" button to spec up a computer? :p

1317855 2012-12-12 10:02:00 Novelty item only, the actual spec's are not exactly powerful. Mind you the damn thing could suddenly disappear -- bummer  wainuitech (129)
1317856 2012-12-12 10:06:00 A great server, just to store all the "write only" files. And your back-up copies of Norton. R2x1 (4628)
1317857 2012-12-12 17:16:00 Yes, but don't forget, as you travel through time, it automatically upgrades itself.

Very clever

Does it go back to DOS 4.00 ?

1317858 2012-12-12 17:52:00 Someone needs to think harder and also out of the box . Why anybody would want to buy that - at that price beats me . it is all the plugs and sockets around the back that stops me wanting to to see the thing in real life .

Some years ago Phillips had a color TV inside what looked like a a motorcycle helmet, you have to lift up the helmet screen to watch TV, another customer wanted to buy one . I suspect they would not make that kind of TV again because the 'programs' are no longer a winner .

. . . . . . now if someone made a TV inside a waste paper bin or a furnace burner, it would add suitable appeal .

Watch it you guys...remember the old saying, "many a good tune played on an old fiddle"...except, in my case, most of the strings are broken

Optional upgrade from Windows 8 ;)

1317862 2012-12-12 22:58:00 Nah! The Silverstone SG08 is the only way to go...

The SG08 is small enough to go near the TV and use the TV as a monitor (in the resthome ;) )

or go behind the couch and connect to the TV with Widi (which Ivy Bridge supports)! In the latter case the SG08 only needs to be near a power socket. I'm planning on using a 'Mini' Bluetooth keyboard/trackball

PCtek - the SG08's 600W power supply is standard ATX (contrary to your post of about a month ago). But it has reduced number of cables because the case can only fit 3 drives + ODD

[In the photo I haven't got the graphics card yet. I was waiting to see what height was available. Looks like it will take an MSI HD 7750 at the very least. MB = Gigabyte Z77N-Wifi. CPU = i5-3570k. Intel330 120GB. WD 2TB 'Green'. Sony ODD. 8 GB RAM. Win7pro64.]
