That's true because people did test beforehand, and put in fixes to make sure nothing big would happen, but the media blew it all up and played on it. There was a lot of people making a lot of money that night. Right at the moment, the only negative thing thats happened today was the bowl on the blender got a chip out of it this morning, and that's nothing to do with the date. :) |

There was one business I dealt with and I told him all he had to do on the Y2K turnover was to set the bios clock but someone else came along and told him he needed a new PC so he bought one when he didn't need to. So yeah a lot of people made a lot of money on the hype from the news media and a lot of people didn't really know what they were talking about when it came to it. |
