1357836 2012-12-11 03:28:00 A tickbox to send me a copy of my form is one of my favourite things, mikebartnz, for that very reason. Zara Baxter (16260)
1357837 2012-12-11 04:42:00 While I have nothing to do with the company mentioned, Danske Mobler.

The comment "They hide their street address, they hide their postal address, they don't show a phone number.
"

Epic FAIL on your part.

If you look in the showroom sections, you find all the address's phone numbers and apart from the Hastings branch, email addresses.

Do they give their head officie address ?

I have probably confused the issue.

Many companies do not give their ph or street address on them.

With Danske Mobler my problem was their Form 2 Mail.

They do not have a simple email address.

And their Form To Mail has about 20 questions and I tired to answer them all and it would not accept my mail, so I gave up.

As regards Captchas, they need to be simple and easy to enter the text - not of those ones that you can hardly read or they are in Serbo-Croat or the text is upside down or curved etc.

1357838 2012-12-11 05:00:00 I always show the phone numbers and the physical address, but use form mail for Email. Main reason is that the sender doe not have to set the computer up for Email, and to reduce spam. It also ensures that the relevant information is provided. I think it is more secure - but wouldn't swear to it! mzee (3324)

To answer the questions - all the details, head offices, phone numbers, addresses Danske-Mobler-Details (www.danskemobler.co.nz) Wasn't hard to find, and all on the site, easy to navigate.

It just goes back to what I said before, some people want everything done for them and cant think to save themselves. Theres a old saying, modern computers make people dumb -- by god its close to the truth.

Theres also the nz-stockists (www.danskemobler.co.nz) on the same page, link on the left.

Some places that have many outlets make it cluttered and hard to read if everything is on the one page.

The Captchas on some sites are terrible, have to agree there.

Just a comment -- Where are the 20 questions you mentioned (Danske Mobler) since its the company mentioned.

The compulsory,
1. Select from dropdown box
2.First Name
3.Last Name
4. Email Address
5.Phone Number
6. Comments section

Some are really stupid and you may have to renew them several times. I just can't be bothered with sites that make it that hard.

That is my point, if they make it too hard to send them an email even genuine people will not bother.
There are quite a few easy captchas out there, which I imagine would be fairly safe from spammers.

I think you are missing the point that he gave up so they may have lost a customer and I don't think any business wants that no matter what you think.
