| 1317602 | 2012-12-03 20:07:00 | Dear friends, Are you aware that each week the New Zealand Centre for Political Research think tank puts out a FREE electronic newsletter dealing with topical public policy issues? For instance did you know that $4 million of taxpayers' money is being spent on the Maori Party's constitutional review? They plan to force a new bicultural constitution enshrining the Treaty of Waitangi as supreme law onto the country. If you are concerned, I urge you to sign the "Declaration of Equality" - to remove the Treaty and all race based preferment from our laws. All details can be found on the ConstitutionalReview.org website. If you would like to register for the free NZCPR Weekly newsletter, so you too can be kept informed, you can do so HERE. Please forward this message on to your contacts. Kindest regards, |

One where if you work hard you get ahead not depending on what race you are. 4mil that's a travesty. |

| 1317611 | 2012-12-04 01:38:00 | Like it or not, we are stuck with MMP. I must admit that I like proportional representation as it does give third parties a chance to start and get going and build up. But I am all for getting rid of the anomalies in the current system. Which is why I voted for a lower threshold (or even no threshold - well 1%). (it may result in a few more single member parties in Parliament, but in the end voters will decide and either vote for more next time or get rid of them. And then no extra seats. And no party hopping |
