| 159872 | 2003-07-15 05:27:00 | I have an asus a7n8x-x mb I am having serious problems with the 6 channel surround sound. After installing the drivers from the provided cd there were no options to set the sound to 6 channel mode, sound storm did not install. I have now installed the drivers provided by realtek for the sound chip. I can get 6 channel sound but the volume of the rear speakers and sub is so low I can hardly hear it. I can find any settings to increase the volume. I have turned all audio settings up to max. No luck At first I thought there must have been a fault with the M/B so I had it replaced and reinstalled windows xp home at the same time. same problem. has anyone encountered this problem and know how to fix it? I'm stumped! |
