160481 2003-07-17 03:19:00 Some time ago I had my Super 8 mm home movies of my kids growing up converted to VHS video tape - some of the movies were quite old and "yellowed". Last week I transferred the 8 hours of video tape to my computer thus "digitizing" them - but they are of such
poor quality (malformed colors, out of focus, etc.) I began searching on the web for a utility that would "enhance" them to the maximum extent possible - but alas after searching for a couple days was unable to find anything at all. If these were "still" images there are numerous programs/utilities available to "sharpen" them and enhance their overall quality that are quite good - but I need a video
utility that does the same thing. Do you know of any such utility. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

160482 2003-07-17 03:30:00 what format did you save them in??

it depends on if you want a free app or not. you can try virtualdub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) there are a few filters for it which may help you.

160483 2003-07-17 04:10:00 Why not check out DivX Digest (http://www.divx-digest.com/) and the other mini sections in the site for a program that could help u out.

cheers,

160484 2003-07-18 00:20:00 Thanks, I checked it out and it looks like this will work. I saved the files as mpg files when I put them on the computer. Jerry B JerryBwa (4251)
