160333 2003-07-16 09:29:00 hi all - I get this message in Windows Explorer after leaving it
open for a while - the filename directory name or volume
label syntax is incorrect - any ideas? possibly filename corrupted ??

- WinXP pro
- Celeron 2.2
- ECS mb
- 20gb & 60gb Seagate hd
- 512mb ddr

- self built pc

160334 2003-07-16 14:04:00 Do you know what directory or file is causing it, if so then delete it and see if that works. If you don't know which one then see if you can find out by opening each. Aslo check the filenames for any that maybe too long (even for xp) or have odd characters in it that shouldn't be there. Odin (227)
160335 2003-07-16 14:06:00 OOps just thought of something else. Check the Volume names of the drives as well and see if you have any folders in the Root directory that might have the same name as the Drive. I've had problems with this in the past. Odin (227)
