| 160242 | 2003-07-16 06:29:00 | It is nice to give feedback when one has received help through Press F1, so here goes . For those that may not have read the previous postings, this is about recoating the flexi-keypad contact surfaces of a cordless phone . The original posting was Billy T's and I sort of hi-jacked it sideways a little . The original was, ( OT: Two-line telephones, Posted: Jul 11, 2003 7:39 PM, by Billy T) . Thanks to Pheonix and Woody for their suggestions which I put to use and to Billy T who kindly allowed me to use his thread on a side issue . I cleaned the flexi-pad contacts with isopropyl alcohol, carefully put fine graphite powder on the button contact points and gently blew away the excess . All keypad buttons now work and the phone is back in service . Thanks once again . Cheers :) :) :) |
