| 160213 | 2003-07-16 02:56:00 | The problem may not be wth Adaptec, see my post yesterday "What is wrong with my Adaptec direct CD?" I have taken the disc that had folders missing from it, to another computer and the 'missing' folders were there. So perhaps Adaptec isn't to blame. I have Widows ME. The other computer has Windows 98. Could my HP CDwriter be faulty when reading? Or could my Windows be corrupted? I think the former, because when I try to open the files using ACDsee on my computer the same files are missing, as when I click on the CDrom drive. |

You could try burning another disc with the same files and see if that is the same. It might be just that disc for some reason. Oh, a little tip for you: keep your posts in the same thread so that others can see the history of your problem. You are more likely to receive better help that way. |
