| 160859 | 2003-07-18 10:15:00 | avg detected the virus worm/sobig.e on my computer about a week ago. it was located in my tempory internet files and didnt appear to have 'activated', neither the entries in the registry or the backdoor program appeared to be present. after an empty of my tempory internet files, avg seemed to be satisfied that is was gone. just reading a news article on tweakxp.com that said it may cause unusual advertisments/spam to appear. i have noticed on several occasions strange advertisments have appeared from nowhere. does anyone have any information on what i can do to fix this? | Craig (448) | ||

I got a taste of sogig last week, but PCcillin stopped it before it got in the door so, assuming House Call runs the same engine it should feret it out. HTH Murray P |
