| 160839 | 2003-07-18 10:07:00 | My boss came flew into town last night and goes again Tuesday. Before then I have to get her files moved to her new notebook and make the new one behave how she likes. I copied the mail over today and then struck a problem. There are about 5 email accounts to download. Whenever I try to send and receive it brings up a screen with user name and password, and an option to add password to the password list. Whatever I do it won't collect the mail automatically. There is probably a setting I have missed. XP pro with Office XP. | wotz (335) | ||

Maybe because the boss is a newbe to computers or the boss does not have time to do this her self or it might be wotz job to do this type of thing e.g. look after some of the computers etc…. | 160843 | 2003-07-18 22:57:00 | Thanks lerel - that looks like it will be the answer. I'll fix it Monday, unless the boss rings me coz its driving her crazy. Beetle, Stu got it right. It's my job, and the boss is only home for 3 days. Been away for 6 weeks and going again Tuesday morning for another 4 to 6 weeks. She has lots of other things to sort out in those days. Shes no slug when it comes to puters though. |
