| 160641 | 2003-07-17 22:36:00 | I am with Xtra and have never had problems before connecting at home. Now for some reason connecting ok and still getting good bps but on home PC on web sites cant get pages up all snails pace and drops line. Tried settings everything and Telecom says line fine. Of course they can come out check street and jackpoints but if not that they charge $81 hum. So I tried my laptop at home which I know is very stable and has worked home before and it is crawling on web pages and dropping line. Strange thing is I can hear crackling on phone line. Very frustrating. I dont have call waiting and took extra phones off lines etc etc cant think of anything else. Does anyone have a brainwave thanks guys. |
