| 160794 | 2003-07-18 05:45:00 | I have just purchased a new comp, but its 56k Modem when plugged in to the phone line creates a static interference on other phones, it dissapears after it is unplugged from the wall? It also frequently disconnects from the Internet after approximately 5 min. It is a v.92 with a c-net driver. Any help would be much appreciated. | Tux (606) | ||
| 160795 | 2003-07-18 06:05:00 | just try it with another phone lead and also on another jack. just to make sure its not a bad connection causeing it. otherwise send it back to for them to fix. with the amount of new pc don't go posts theres been lately it appears that noone seems to test new pc before giving them to the customer. |

That's why you paid so much money for it - to give THEM the pleasure of fixing it for you. :-) Be careful of doing too much yourself as THEY might say "Go away - this has been fiddled with and we ain't gonna cover it no more" Inconvienent- yes, a pain in the backside-yes but just take it back. |
