| 161147 | 2003-07-19 10:05:00 | Ok hi all, I'm wondering if you can give me some advice with a few things. Firstly I apologise for swearing in Jap a few months ago and my coments towards anyone, if it has offended you. I was not very happy with a few people's attitudes around the forum then. It won't happen again. Problem 1: I could think of numerous applications of this idea, but heres one example. Lets say I'm use kazaalite and my shared drive is inside an encrypted PGP disk. (As anyone with an IQ >125 and using P2P should do). I want to click on the shortcut on quicklaunch to mount the PGP disk, type in my password, and then have kazaalite automatically open after that. I'm thinking you could easily add some code after the shortcut to make kazaa run right afterwards??? Problem 2: I've looked high and low, at the warehouse & Warehouse stationary, DSE, 2 music stores and Noel Leeming (computer city). I'm looking for a cd wallet with a sort of wetsuit material covering on the outside. I can't find anywhere that sells them - if they even exist. The cd/dvd wallet needs to hold about 40+ cds. I'm sick of opening cases etc to pull out all my cds, and with a wallet, I can take my whole collection anywhere anytime. If their an online store, no worries. :) Problem 3: Is there some sort of blank CD-R labling stickers that you can buy in bulk? I want to make my cool labels in photoshop etc, and then print them out directly onto a sticker (round) and then apply them to my CD-R's. Where can you buy stuff like this? I confess I haven't really looked :p -- Alright cheers! |

| 161148 | 2003-07-19 11:36:00 | Problem 2 I have in the past bought exactly that type of CD wallet (holds 48) for $10 at the Warehouse. Its Neoprene (e.g.wetsuit material). Have not seen them there for some time now though. Also have nylon fabric ones from there, same size and price. Havent looked just recently, I have 4 full and thats enough. I toss older CDs now, unless they have something I deem essential on them. Problem 3 Depends what "bulk" is in your terms. Warehouse Stationery have 100 labels (50 sheets) at $25 - $30 IIRC. Not cheap. And apology accepted. |

| 161150 | 2003-07-20 04:04:00 | That link for Problem 1 gave me the idea that I could write a batch file to execute the 2 programs right after each other. But is there some way I can make the batch file run hidden (in the background), and also make it wait 10secs after opening the first program (so I can type in the password) and then run the second program? Either that or is there some code I can add in the shortcut target box??: "D:\Programs\Kazaa Lite\kpp.exe" Problem 2: I think I have seen a neoprene cd wallet at the warehouse once, but it was an ugly brown colour and I'd prefer black or something nicer. You mention nylon, is that like a nice smooth material? And I'll have a look at warehouse stationery for those cd labels, cheers :) |

| 161152 | 2003-07-20 08:27:00 | The nylon was a smooth fabric and those ones are fine but had them for ages now, the neoprene was softish and black and more recent. The neoprene had an external webbing pocket zip-up on the outside that would hold a couple of FDD as well. They have some cheap ($2.99) half-size nylon ones but the pockets are shoddy, not worth it. |
