| 161701 | 2003-07-21 03:04:00 | Hi again Booty Have read your reply and I'm embarrased to say I get lost on point 5. Can I just say what we basically use the computer for is emailing, viewing websites and playing games. I don't really have much knowledge as far as things go so unsure which option to take. We arnt visually impaired. Point 6 - He did say to format under NTFS. and 7 when your talking about an active internet connection yes we do we are logged onto xtra and he told me i would just have to do a reinstall off their disk - is this right? I'm sorry if people are laughing at me by being a bit unsure and over cautious but not understanding computer lingo doesnt help much. Thanks Ladybug |

Hi Ladybug, well done with your reinstall :-), with regard to your second problem - how to change/remove the preview pane in outlook express: You will find the Preview pane setting Under - View - layout - then untick the preview pane setttings there ;-) HTH Sorry i can't be of any help with your Nortons, as it sounds like you are using Norton system works, or the like, and i only have N.A.V, but i am sure somebody else will be along soon to help with that one :-) |
