| 161983 | 2003-07-22 07:42:00 | I use Google almost exclusively. It has the ability to search within results which other engines don't necessarily have. However there must be other search engines favoured by PF1 acolytes? What do you use and why? |

| 161984 | 2003-07-22 07:48:00 | Before moving over to google, i used to frequently use Altavista (www.altavista.com), which I thought was a good website. It has since improved the look of the website (heaps better than before), and occasionally if google doesn't come up with the results I search for, I go over to Altavista, and find what I'm looking for. askjeeves.com is not too bad either. |

Not at all that great but it works for what im searching for, i find google to be the best for school searching, e.g. for assignments and tests that i need to find information about stuff. its really great, and the new features they have added is good to!!:) St. † |

One neat little trick with it is that on any Web-page,you only have to Highlite any word,phrase or URL,click on it and bingo,you are there! However if you are restricting your search to NZ only,the local search engines like SearchNZ etc.,find things just as quickly! Cheers,Kiwitas,;-) |
