161914 2003-07-22 01:12:00 hey there,

when I installed w2ksp4 and groupwise client, my outlook 2000 reported an error. then I cannot browse nz site like www.nzherald.co.nz(even if I can view www.xtra.co.nz). I can ping nz sites. I tried IE6 repair, still the same.

maybe the TCP/IP is corrupted. I cannot remove the TCP/IP protocal from my PC's nic because its greyed out.

so is there any tool to fix/restore windows 2000 TCp/IP without installing a fresh w2k?

Many Thanks in advance.

161915 2003-07-22 02:01:00 In control panels select Network Connections
Right click the ISP icon and select properties
Select networking tab
Select settings of Dialup server
Try with Enable LCP extensions ticked and unticked.

Highlight TCP/IP under network Tab and go to properties.
Make sure Obtain IP address and Obtain DNS are both set to Automatically.

You can uninstall and reinstall TCP/IP with it highlighted with Network Tab selected.
