161801 2003-07-21 09:45:00 Hey i was jsut wondering is there any way of stopping a printer printing in colour and to jsut print in black and white as a default but being able to change to colour at any print job when chosen?

OR

Is there any way of having a password on a printer so as if you want to print you have to put in a password to be able to print?

Just been wondering this for a while, may not be possible, or ive never heard of it being done but anywayz, can you do either of these? one or the other is good for me, but if both dont work ill just have to get over it!!:)

Thanks all

What typed of printer do you have??? Also have you look in the printer properties????(Control Panel > Printers) There you can change the printer settings e . g . what colour you can print etc…

Also what OS do you have???

also if you have MS word or word pad Go to file > Print ( or Ctrl + P) then in the print menu click on the properties button (see screen shot) (sal.neoburn.net)
