| 161781 | 2003-07-21 10:47:00 | if pressf1 people wont or dont approve of the idea.. i was thinking, we could do it ourselves.. like..ask someone if they have the time/patience to do it.. and make a thread..with the questions.. and everyone answers... and this one person...can compile it...and make a link somewhere..or send it to someone and they link it off their website.. and everytime someone new is on here..not immediately, but abit later (so we can work out if they actually a regular not a one off or something)...they answer..then we add..and the list grows.. i know it'd take a hell of alot of work...but to be honest.. i can do it if you guys want me to...but yes with help from u all :P compile it in the way of username: computer type: and so on: and email address WONT be used..as it'd be all the xmases at once for spammers... ability to edit own posts..i think we can do this now as spell check is around..preveiw too..but we just too much of a hurry to use them..arent we :P...if u took abit longer..u mite find u wont make bobos in ur postings.. |

I like the sound of a "21 Registered users and 4 guests" part, but for me, I have about 4 PC's and I ask the odd question for a mate.. my OS changes more times than my clothing does at times, but im settling with RedHat 9 on my PC.. but I have 4 PC's remember.. And most n00b's dont know how to measure the speed of their PC, let alone figure out what theirs actually is! And the ability to edit posts would make things worse, due to people going back and editing what they've said about a problem etc. Just re-post if you make a booboo! :-) Or, use the Preview function and check it over before posting! |
