Take numerous accessories. For such a price, you may be willing to wait some time as Canon is introducing the 300D speculated at $1000 USD. Its a digital SLR. |

| 161811 | 2003-07-21 12:13:00 | Hi I have the Nikon 5700, and have had for an few months now. It is a great camera that takes high quality photos top res i think 1920x2560, and can shoot in both raw, tiff, and jpg. Has oodles of functions, various capture modes - normal, continuous for a few seconds, multi shot, ultra hi and movie. Its good at zooming in real close, has no stray pixels, you can review images, protect them delete them etc from the menu There are so many different adjustments, I have still not got used to them all. If you want to know more or any specifics just post again It is the best camera in its price range but here are some things I found out after buying it (im not bashing it, i would still but it again) The battery could last longer To attach a filter you need to buy an adaptor You cant really zoom in or out in movie mode (well you can but all you will hear is the noise of the lens moving) The inbuilt flash is automatic: NO manual - you can use the flash in manual mode, but it will always fire the 'correct' amount of light. ie you cannot over or under expose with the flash. Also nikon external flashes are only supported, so if you attach one thats not a nikon, it will work, but the internal flash will fire also. (need to put your hand over it) Overall its a wicked camera that will last you for many years (hopefully) Hope ive been of some help. Psot again if you want some more details |

| 161813 | 2003-07-22 01:42:00 | I want the Niikon D2h :D :D Speculated released today, if not its a showcase and release sometime soon.... Or the D2x whenever that is :D Well, the Canon 1Ds is great too :D ;) The 5700 is a fine camera seems like. Less flexibility given what real lenses u can use tho... but hey the lense built in is free in compared to the aboves... |
