| 162459 | 2003-07-23 12:58:00 | Recently updated IE6 & Outlook express from May PC World CD, using SP1, & various cumulative patches. Only because I read previous problems with the update had been fixed. Since then I have noted Outlook express is in big slow down mode & takes forever to open, then each e mail take an age to open up. Also noticed Word & Excel take an age to open. Other little things that seem to also have been screwed up are Spell check in word no longer operates, Explorer locks up often Is this a problem with the updates & how do I rectify this problem. Im running a Pentium 1.8, with 256MB ram, Windows 98 second Edition |
